988 offers 24/7 access to compassionate, confidential support for free. You’ll be quickly connected to trained crisis counselors who will listen to your concerns, provide support, and get you additional help if needed. 988 calls for our community are answered by highly trained specialists from 211 Northwest Florida.

Reasons for calling could be:
Thoughts of suicide
Mental health or substance use crisis, or
Any other kind of emotion distress

​LOSS TEAM 7145 West Oakland Park Blvd. Lauderhill FL 33313 (954)746-2055 ext#134 Local Outreach to Suicide Survivors (LOSS)’s mission is to immediately offer survivors of suicide, support services designed to help survivors cope with the impact of a loved one’s death by suicide. The LOSS Team is set up to mitigate the aftermath of a death by suicide by offering intervention on a supportive basis. Survivors of death by suicide represent a very high risk of death by suicide based on several factors including grief, guilt, shame and depression. These factors represent a real community health crisis that would be mitigated with the addition of this program. www.mhasefl.org
